Three places already come to mind. Central Park's always a nice place to walk around, really atmospheric, a cute place for lunch. The other two places I'd recommend so long as you aren't scared of heights: The One World Observatory and the Rockerfeller Center. Both have a great view of Manhattan from the sky.
